Media Library
Grenoble, France
Client: Diploma project
Surface area: 2 500 m²
The media library is part of an urban project linking the campus to its community. It creates the link by its programmatic diversity. A section of city is developed, directly connected to the rest of the Grenoble conurbation by the lines of trams.
The media library is an important space of 8 meters in height. This is created by simple variations of height giving a free plane. Internal spaces where we whisper, open spaces where we work, confined spaces where we search. A place for exchanges and meetings around culture.
The fold allows the extension of the public space inside the building.
The project stages a building that can be adaptable in an environment. The principle of space neutrality increases the freedom and flexibility of the interior design. Thus, this support building has a durability over time and can have several lives.
